Christchurch > Dining > Cafes > The Globe Cafe and DeliReviewA local institution, the Globe Cafe and Deli is a wonderful spot for a relaxing weekend brunch or divine coffee with friends. The very accessible High Street location is great if you are going to or just coming from the city centre. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating although, as tends to happen to popular venues, it can fill up quick so don't be too disappointed if you have to wait for a seat. There is so much delicious food on offer and you are really spoilt for choice when it comes to inexpensive quality options that will keep you going most of the day. Delicious calzones and yummy French toast with bacon and bananas comes recommended if you can't decide on what to get. The atmosphere at the Globe is great and it somehow manages to keep the noise level down despite everyone chatting and having a good time, a rare feat for a popular Cafe. If you're in town or just after an inexpensive snack and a rest from a hectic day, get to the Globe Cafe as soon as possible.
