Christchurch > Dining > Casual Dining > Winnie BagoesReviewI'd heard a lot of great things about Winnie Bagoes but never actually experienced it myself so thought it was about time I put their pizzas to the test. There is a lot of seating at Winnie Bagoes with plenty of large tables for groups, booths for smaller numbers of friends and family as well as the option of alfresco dining. This said however, don't be surprised to stroll up and find the place jam packed, it's always handy to book ahead or come at a less busy time of the day. There's a huge range of pizzas available and they really have all tastes covered. You'll find many pizza flavours that you didn't even know existed, a good idea is to buy a half and half pizza so you can try out as many toppings as possible. Once you've had a Winnie Bagoes pizza you'll never be able to go back to a typical flavourless takeaway equivalent. I enjoyed sitting outside and the relaxed atmosphere that comes with it, it's a perfect place to go after a hard days work and even better with live music from Thursday to Sunday. There's also a small basketball court outside but I've never actually seen anyone playing on it, it's a nice idea but people are probably a little preoccupied with the delicious food and drink. Winnie Bagoes Gourmet Pizza Bar delivers some of the best pizzas in Christchurch with a great atmosphere whether you're sitting inside or out, it comes highly recommended to give them a visit some time soon.
