Tulsi is a favourite Christchurch restaurant that offers great contemporary Indian cuisine. Whether it's for a working lunch or an evening meal with friends, Tulsi offers you a modern dining experience at a price that won't break the bank.

Located in the heart of the city it's a great spot to head to if you're stuck for ideas or don't want to travel too far. The restaurant itself is modern and well presented with a range of comfortable seating for couples, small groups as well as large function rooms to cater for bigger groups.

The menu is full of delicious Indian meals, naan bread, rice and drinks. You are welcome to ask how hot you would like the meals, mild for the tame, Indian hot for the game. Of course with so many to choose from you might get stuck on which one to decide, if you do I recommend the Tikka Masala, it's a classic that always leaves you satisfied. One thing I've noticed about Indian restaurants these days is the lack of vegetables with meals, seems you can't have meat with vegetables at a normal price, it's either one or the other.

The service is very responsive, although at times lacking a bit in friendliness, the language barrier isn't usually a problem although there can sometimes be a little difficulty when ordering and receiving meals.

Overall, Tulsi Indian Restaurant delivers a high quality Indian dining experience at a great price. Enjoy the modern setting, taste the delicious Indian flavours and finish it off with a traditional Lassi drink.
