Wellington, New Zealand Located at the southern end of the North Island, Wellington is New Zealand's capital city.

Home to much of NZ's cultural identity, Wellington has strong ties in the arts, music, film & theatre, while also enjoying a large number of cafes, bars and Te Papa, the National Museum of New Zealand. It has a moderate climate and weather wise is most recognized for its strong winds.

More than just the political centre of New Zealand, Wellington is a unique destination that produces more than its fair share of successful people. Peter Jackson and Weta Workshops brought Hollywood to town with the Lord of the Rings while the musical comedy duo that is the Flight of the Conchords have taken a slice of Wellington, New Zealand to America and the world.
