Riccarton House & BushExplore the wonderful Victorian/Edwardian homestead that is Riccarton House. Built from 1856, Riccarton House was the home of Canterbury's pioneering Deans family. Enjoy a guided tour through over 20 fully restored, decorated and furnished rooms.

Take a stroll through the ancient native forest of Riccarton Bush, with towering Kahikatea trees of over 600 years of age.

Visit the Deans Cottage, the oldest building in Christchurch before enjoying some traditional Canterbury cuisine or a great coffee at the Riccarton House Restaurant.
